You read my mind, man xDHi, freelancer91!
I take it you like to reinstall your OS over and over again on your main system until the final release, eh?
I wonder whether it will be possible to install the Beta over what we have now and retain all our settings.I've been on Win8 for the last 5 days. I'm finding more and more I like about it.
I'm sure going to dread setting it all back up again when the next milestone is released.
It might be, although I wouldn't recommend it even if it is.I wonder whether it will be possible to install the Beta over what we have now and retain all our settings.I've been on Win8 for the last 5 days. I'm finding more and more I like about it.

I agree with Dwarf here. I think a fresh installation would be wise, considering that we are going to transition from Alpha to Beta... yeah, not gonna risk all those bugs.It might be, although I wouldn't recommend it even if it is.I wonder whether it will be possible to install the Beta over what we have now and retain all our settings.I've been on Win8 for the last 5 days. Sure, installing it on the real hardware is preferable.
It's funny you should say that, because I took the plunge from the start (installed it as a dual boot first, then primary boot) and haven't looked back. I haven't even had a single BSoD yet.The difference is almost night and day. I had it in a VM. Hated it. Didn't touch it. Decided to add to it the triple boot instead. Parts of it make sense now. Not the most stable thing, but stable enough for day to day mucking around.
