Hello, I'm new to the forums (as you can very well tell) and I'm slightly ashamed of myself but...I need help. I hope one of you has the ability. I'm not new to troubleshooting but from this end of the problem I am. I'll try to be as precise as possible. Here we go!
I've been using Windows 7 Ultimate x64 since January of 2013 on this build. Not a single issue to date. I decided to make the leap to Windows 8, against my better judgement, to see if this "15% to 20% increase in performance" for my Piledriver based FX-8350 was a reality or a gimmick. I've been through 2 clean installs so far, this being my 3rd, and this exact issue keeps arising. Upon shutting down and booting the computer back up I receive a black screen hang followed by a quick restart of the PC. After the restart, everything works perfectly. Windows tells me their was an issue and asks if I'd like to send the information to Microsoft. I always decline due the endeavor always being fruitless. I check BlueScreenView to see the root cause of this issue. I get:
This is consistent across 3 minidumps (this install). The issue DOES NOT reveal itself when I simply restart my PC. Snooping around using my Google-Fu skills I've come across what I consider is likely the issue. It seems to be ACPI related. I'm not entirely sure but it is a well educated guess. My other theory, based on the evidence, is that there is an issue with the HDMI audio out of my GPUs (of which I do not use). This is corroborated by this Device Manager issue:

I'm not as sure about this being the culprit as this shouldn't cause an issue like that but it is an apparent issue. To further elaborate on the theorized ACPI issue, it seems it can be cause by an old ACPI driver. From what I can tell mine is dated at 2006. I have about 5 ACPI related drivers so I'm not sure which one is at fault (if any) but there is one that directly references hal.dll (or at least I think it does):

Please, let me know if any further clarification is required. I realize I just laid a whopper of a post but I'm hoping to not only help myself but others. Thank you in advance for any help!
EDIT:
Sorry, apparently I need to read directions better. I've attached my zip as per the BSOD Posting Instructions. Since my initial post I am now suspecting the:
High Definition Audio Controller
PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_AAB0&SUBSYS_AAB01458&REV_00
...to be the culprit. Then again, I apparently don't know jack or sh*t when it comes to this issue. Haha! I'm also not so sure that device has anything to do with my HDMI audio output at all upon further inspection. I've seen Realtek audio devices come up the offender in similar issues. Could that be it? Either way, thanks again in advance!

If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen,
restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow
these steps:
Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed.
If this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer
for any Windows updates you might need.
If problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hardware
or software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing.
If you need to use safe mode to remove or disable components, restart
your computer, press F8 to select Advanced Startup Options, and then
select Safe Mode.
