No it doesn't. You must mean faulty hardware, faulty 3rd party drivers or incorrect bios settings.
You forgot one - operator mistakes. I once read that over 80% of the so called 'system problems' are self inflicted.

Operator mistakes is already covered in faulty third party drivers. i.e. Having them installed.

Yeah, but I mean all the other injuries that people can inflict on their systems. E.g. I have seen many people messing with the registry that had no idea how the registry works. Or yesterday I saw a guy messing with the MBR but he obviously had no clue of the disk structure.

True. I hear what you're saying. There probably is some way to make Windows freeze by changing things in the registry, but even so, it probably would be very hard to do even on purpose.

Or the MBR thing - that's just total system problems etc...not really freezing or crashing....maybe actually booting though lol. :)
