I DONT KNOW WHAT I CAN DO! Please HELP!

Hi Davidmedia, welcome to the forums, if you have any security software installed, uninstall it, remove any USB peripherals and see whether it helps.

I can't read German but that looks like the message I was getting at one point when trying to load into a VM. Are you trying to install from an ISO image or a DVD?

I have THE ISO on a USB. i tried dvd too.

Best Regards,
David.

by the way the bug on english:windows installation was not successful. The previous Windows version is restored. do not reboot

Had the same problem last night - the ISO actually checks out (MD5 sum), but the USB key created using Microsoft's tool failed. I did it manually using diskpart, bootsect, and file copying from the mounted ISO on an already-running Win8 system, and it worked fine. Just FYI - always make sure your downloaded ISO matches the MD5 sum of the original before trying to do anything with it.

Thx for the answer no one has worked for me!

From what I see there, it's seeing something with either SpeedFan or SiSoft Sandra it doesn't like - might not be root cause, but both of those will need reinstallation after upgrading anyway. I'd start by going into add/remove programs and uninstalling anything that would install any system monitoring , firewall, or antivirus protection and start again after a reboot and a disk cleanup in Windows 7 (I've seen all of the above break upgrades as well, with similar failure messages).

It seems to me, that Davidmedia has spreaded his error in several places, without garbage collecting the mess, he left.

Here is a nearly identical thread.

The reason for this cause was a wrong setup-target estimation - whilst the user intended to install to a SSD, setup grabbed the 2 TB hard disk (that might contain some traces from an old install). Solution (always a good solution): unplug all disks not required for install.

HTH

BTW: I've documented a bit how to analyze setup failure logs - currently in German, but an English version will be created (and linked in my German article) soon.
