Hello Folks,
I bought a new lenovo laptop which comes with Windows 8 pre installed. I'm not quite happy with Windows 8 & also with the way how my 1TB drive has been Partitioned.I can't reduce the C drive to less than 400 Gigs, there are 2 100 GB partitions meant for recovery.
This is what I'd like to do. Firstly, format the entire drive, and reinstall windows 8 without creating any recovery partitions from an ISO (I didn't get any DVD from my vendor) and use my OEM key. Id like to keep my C drive to a max of 100 GB, since windows won't be my primary OS.
So any idea in how do I get the iso (download from torrents?) & how do I go about creating a simpler partition layout.
By the way... I installed GRUB to the MBR and windows won't boot now, although Linux does.
Thanks.
