don't know to put the topic , so i put it here.
i got an issue about boot on my pc running windows 8.
firstly i tried compress my C partition with compress disk mode by right click on C partition and choose properties and choose compress process mode.
after finish compressing process, i restarted my pc and into boot time, a table response that the boot compressed, ctrl alt delete to restart.
i put the windows 8 disk to repair the boot rec with command line : bootrec /fixmgr.
It's oke to boot up my pc to windows, but the boot rec's written to the E partition, that means i have 2 boot rec on my pc, 1 is a compressed boot on C partition when i choose this one to boot ,the same problem occured, and one newly created by type the DOS command above on E partition.
My question's that how do i only get 1 boot on my pc, certainly a running boot ?
i got some way to do but still get concern bout that :
1, move and paste overide boot from E to C
2, use third party to fix that
3, use DOS command "bcdedit /" to delete all boot and repair again with windows 8 disk
appriciate whoever comment and help here.
