Windows 8.1 weak wifi signal.

Hello.
I'm using windows 8.1 and my wifi connection drops down to 1 or 2 bars often. The best wifi signal I get is 3 bars.
I was wondering if you could help me fix this because right now I have to use an ethernet cable to get good connection.
I get good signal on my laptop but not on this PC.

How far are you from the wifi accesspoint? If the wifi came preinstalled on the device. Who is the manufacturer and what is the model number of your laptop? What is the manufacturer and model of the Gateway you are using for your network? Is it your ISP's that you rent it from, or did you purchase the Gateway?
