Hi All
Newbie to the forum but not windows.
History: Went to install Windows 8.1 update last night. I first installed 8 updates (half of which were Office based) and then rebooted. I then ran the 8.1 update on its own - downloaded and installed without a hitch. Rebooted and all was well, or so I thought. This morning I tried to download some app from the Windows Store, it failed to load with a 0X80072F8F error (see below). I also tried Windows Update only to find that I was getting an error there as well, the same one! So, I decided to roll back my PC to a backup image taken on Monday and go through the whole process once again but first checked that I could access both the Store and Update, both were OK. I installed the 8 or so updates first, rebooted and checked access to the Store and Update again, both were OK. I then downloaded and installed the 8.1 update, rebooted and guess what, lost access to the Store and Update. I downloaded and ran the Windows Update diagnostic tool, that found some errors but was unable to fix them all (see below).
Anyone any ideas?
Regards.
Dave
