Windows Updates Failing, Codes 800F0922/80242014 - Win 8.1
Hi all,
New to the forum here so I hope I don't make a fool of myself.
This issue has been ongoing for about 2 months now, I've just been frustrated with trying to figure out what is causing this, short of formatting the system and starting clean.
From the first screenshot, these are the updates that remain, either stating that they've failed or require a restart.
With regards to the updates with "Failed", the "Error details" read: Code 800F0922.
And with regards to the updates with "Pending restart", the "Error details" read: 80242014.
I have tried various "fixes" from the Microsoft website and also other forums to no avail. The updates still get stuck here.
I tried doing these updates one at a time to see if I could find a troubled update, however there were always mixed results. Once the update that causes this issue happens, it reverts back to the updates shown here.
Windows will go into the "Failure configuring Windows updates. Reverting changes. Do not turn off your computer" loop about 2/3 times before settling down.
Apologies if I didn't provide enough information. Please let me know if there's anything more I can provide to help.
