Windows 8.1 Pro (No Audio Output/Input Device Installed)

I'm using an MSI GS70 laptop and just recently ran into a problem where my audio device suddenly stopped working. I spent about 2 hours trying to fix the solution with what I could find online but unfortunately it didn't work. I just did a clean reinstall of Windows 8.1 and the problem continues to persist stating that I have no audio devices installed. I'd appreciate it if someone would be able to help me solve this problem as it has caused nothing but frustration for me most of the day. Device Manager.pngNo Sound.png

Check the BIOS. The audio can be enabled or disabled in most BIOS. If everything is OK in the BIOS, try a BIOS reset (back to default values) and see if that helps.

You could also run Linux (via a disc) and see if the sound is detected OK in Linux. If it is, that says the sound is working and there is potentially a problem with Windows. If this laptop has an Intel chipset, try installing the Intel motherboard chipset drivers and see if that helps - one of the things the chipset drivers do is identify all the devices on the motherboard.

You have so much installed under audio I would disable everything except the the Realtek HD audio. Then uninstall it and reboot and let it reinstall. See if it works with just Realtek audio enabled. Enable the others one at a time and reboot. See if there is one causing the problem.

I missed they are grayed out, sorry. Are you showing hidden devices is that why? I would uninstall/remove all those then do the uninstall of Realtek like I said.
