Hi there
Is there anything that we can use to build the W7 BOOT record --it's easy to extract and create the WIM like W8 to go but of course what's missing is the W7 equivalent of this command
bcdboot.exe d:\windows /s d: /f ALL
I tried using the W8 boot command from a W8 system but the system --while it started loading gave me BSOD after the W7 logon logo appeared.
The bcdboot.exe command doesn't exist on the W7 system --or at least I can't find it.
Anybody managed to "clone" the W8 Windows to go procedure to W7. Seems it SHOULD in theory work since the IMAGEX from the WAIK is actually the W7 (or even VISTA) version. and I can extract a genuine W7 install WIM from the W7 install iso.
Cheers
