I have a d-link DWA 525 wireless network adapter on my PC.
I have used it on this PC with win 7 and win 8.
Few months back, I noticed that the wireless was much slower than the ethernet cable. Since I didn't have much time then, I started using the cable and probably deleted the wireless adapter under 'Network connections'.
Now I want to use wireless again. But surprisingly, the 'wireless' option has disappeared from my PC. The device manager shows an exclamation mark near the wireless adapter. Here are things I tried:
- I have uninstalled this adapter
- Reinstalled the driver with the CD which came with the device. No change!
- Uninstalled again and reinstalled with the latest drivers from d-link website. Still no change!
What should I do?
I have attached a screenshot of my device manager. I think this is the reason why the wireless option has disappeared from my PC.
Another screenshot showing this message: This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. (Code 12)
