Win 8.1 Screen Stretched After Automatic update

After a win 8.1 update from MS, my screen resolution has changed. The screen is stretched too wide.
Win claims I have a Generic Non-PnP monitor and Intel HD graphics.
I have tried adjusting resolution in CP, but monitor says "Input not supported."
Monitor is Acer p191w.
I have never adjusted any monitor settings, windows seems to have done it on its own.
I do not know what my previous settings were.

In Control Panel, Display what resolution is set? Have you checked the monitor itself for a menu that has adjustments? Sometimes just using Auto Adjust works good.
