I heard Sandboxie is a good one. What is the difference between free and premium?

Hmm....Avast 8 free.

On avast's website they say that Sandboxing is Pro and up but what is auto sandbox?
For me, there is no "run in sandbox" option in the context menu.

I'm not sure what you are saying? Please elaborate.

With most programs, you can right click and then see "run in comodo sandbox", "run in avast sandbox", etc. However, when I right click, no run in avast sandbox is there.
Has the sandbox ever protected you from something?I'm not sure what you are saying? Please elaborate.

Avast makes the decision when to invoke the sandbox. That's why it is called auto-sandbox. IMHO, that is the right way to design that function because most people don't understand how to use a sandbox environment and why it might even be necessary.
Well yes and no... I have download a handful of executables and started to either install and/or run them when the sandbox function intervened, did a further analysis, and found no issues. At that point it gave me the option to either run it in sandbox mode or real mode. So, if you think Comodo is the way to go, when do you decide to run something in your manual sandbox mode and what prompted you to do it?
