What Custom Settings to Choose During Clean Install

I wonder if there is a Tutorial or Thread here somewhere that includes Safe Custom Settings to choose during Clean Install. I installed with an old Image a while back and Chose Express Settings. Then I tried to Reverse some of those settings with a Tutorial, but I don't think it went all that well, and maybe with the old Image I used, I'm experiencing some little issues with my newish Windows 8 Install. Boot times are too long IMO, and sometimes the system seems to go into a catatonic state, where everything just doesn't work properly. For the most part it works quite well, so I will do this new install on another Drive to compare the two.

Thanks, Stealth

Thanks Paul but those don't tell me what is okay to Turn Off without having issues with certain programs. I guess I'll need to do more homework on the subject while making those choices.
