So, for those not running WCP as a VM

After just a few hours of release - is anyone here been brave enough to make the leap and install it as their main OS or have you kept it as a Dual boot.

For me its a dual boot for now.

I've set it as dual boot, but I've got everything installed now so unless it's unstable I'll stick with it and try to find some love for it (aint got any atm).

I have it as a dual boot and on several virtual machines.

So Far So good here :}

Dual boot for me. Windows 7 is still my main OS. Until 8 is proven stable enough (so probably not until either RC or release). If I cannot get used to Metro though, I'll kick Windows to the curb and switch to Linux.

I was brave and installed it as my main OS. I figured that being submerged in it completely will force me to learn all the new stuff faster. So far, so good. :)

As I said before, I am going to wait for a more stable build before I do that. However, I have spent all day in Windows 8, and haven't even restarted since install. Watching 24 on Netflix right now. So far, so good. lol

Dual boot for me until RTM. Just got it loaded today and still getting to places I can't get out of and don't remember how I got there in the first place.:p Need to write things down as I go. It seams really fast and it did have some new drivers that Win 7 didn't have. Just need to play with it a while.

Jim :cool:

That seems to be the majority decision... haha. I decided to wing it this time. So far, no regrets... I will let you guys know how it goes.

Well, I've only had three issues with it so far. CamStudio installed, but it wouldn't run. And the printer drivers for the wireless Kodak AiO printer we have here at my home didn't install the first time. They did the second time though, no problem. The last issue I have with it is the gadget for Core Temp, what I use to monitor the temperature of my processor, didn't work. I found another gadget that use Core Temp to get the same results. So far, no major issue. Just a couple speed bumps. Only one of the three issues couldn't be solved.

I'm back on Win7, after having to suffer that Metro interface in an emergency to fix the servers I'd rather go back to Vista than ever use win8 and metro agan.

I don't know. I think I'm starting to warm up to it some. Not so much the Start Screen. But the rest of it, I am enjoying just fine. I can still easily get to places I need to get to.

Main on my laptop that i only use for movies and internet browsing , and nowhere near my desktop that I use for everything.
