Watch Dogs: Patch/In-Game Screenshot Postings

So I have a sub-par pc:

4GB ram and 2GB GT645m but I have an i7-2.2Ghz

My friend gave me a cracked copy and it ran find. I set all settings to lowest and windowed. After doing the first mission, I ALT-TAB into task manager and it says 86% ram used and throughout the whole mission there was maybe just a half-second lag every 30 minutes.

So does that mean I can go buy it and play it without problems as long as I quit the game at regular intervals?

or will bad things happen if I continue playing it?

If you can handle it now, I don't see why you couldn't handle the legit copy.. Just watch your temps.. ;)

I'm not concerned with the legal copy, I just don't know if there's any consequences when used this way for the long-term.

If it's just the temps, then it should be okay since I limit myself to 2 hours a session.

Steam summer sale is 19th June, so maybe I can get a copy by then.

I grabbed as many cars as possible and tried to go places I'm not quite supposed to go.. The car actually floated a bit before it went down on this one lol

Wow. Just upgraded my CPU from an AMD A8-6600K quad to an FX-8350 octo and gained better than 20 FPS with textures on high. Went from around 17 FPS while driving to around 40.

Nice! Yeah I'm running the 8320, OC while gaming to 4.2ghz, but I've gotten my CPU to 5.3ghz.. I might try it and see if there's any difference :) I'm running ultra on everything but shadows, shadows are on medium.. I sacrifice some FPS for better quality because I love my good lookin' graphics lol.. It's not really bad though.. And I attempted an overclock on the GPU, but I kinda went too much and it locked up on me twice.. Haven't tried it again since :p

Well darn.. I'm broke at the moment lol I got some other stuff peeps don't have though since I downloaded the game through a new GPU offer thing.. :)

I really wish they'd stop doing the whole "exclusive" DLC thing. I'm the type of guy that wants ALL the DLC. Can't do that with the way things are going these days though.

Oh well. Think I'll grab the season pass this weekend.

I should've went for the season pass.. Didn't think about it.. Skyrim looked too darn good to pass up as well as two other games :p

Nice.. I just got a couple games on Steam that are on sale right now for dirt cheap.. Even though I reeeaallly don't have the extra to get them I sorta cut in "other areas" heh heh.. I should've went for the season pass.. Didn't think about it.. Skyrim looked too darn good to pass up as well as two other games :p

Oh, believe me, the Steam sale is making my wallet cry out for mercy. hahahaha

I haven't. Picked up Battleblock Theater a couple days ago though. That game is ridiculous and hilarious.
