want to delete these two partitions as i have new mobo

at command prompt(admin) type>

Diskpart
select disk 0
list partition

post a pic - just to verify partition layout.. But if those partitions are not needed they can be removed, and C can be expanded to fill the freespace

ok here is a pic of it never done that before kind of cool.

the problem is the 40MB partition #2 and the Recovery Image Partition #4 - which can both be deleted..

But they can not be combined BECAUSE partition 3 sits between them..

Dang it do you know if windows 10 when it comes out will be able to do a clean install and i just do it then. Thanks for help

As long as you have a windows 8 or windows 8.1 product key - You can do a clean install of Windows 8.1..
