Using Windows without the old Start Menu...possible?

well yes, but lately (since Windows 8.0) i get the feeling that M.S. is making it difficult for other company's to be compatible.

I have Easy Mail Merger and this does no longer works on Win 8 or Win 8.1. They do not seem to get it right.

Same for Xobni they let everyone know that it is not possible to work on Win 8.

And there are other 3d party programs that have the same problem

well i did change the Desktop, now no longer using the taskbar (pic included).

Although i still prefer the Metro, but since the taskbar will not be removed in Windows 9....

Using Object Dock from Stardock to do so, which is simple, one can also remove the taskbar.

No offense taken, but you are right, I prefer old cars, antique even. Last one was a '66 Mercury pickup. Nice simple and full of power.

I understand Mike, but in Europe gasoline cost twice the price and that car consumes a lot.

You do not find those cars overhere.

No tablet overhere Jack, i need a PC for work. Besides when i click i want a result and with the tablet that we have i Always need to

touch the screen 2-3 times before i get a result. So no thanks

cas is over 5 dollars a gallon here in Canada and people drive old car and big pickup trucks to pick up groceries ,
sorry to here you cant get a good tablet where you live

for work i do not think any tablet will suite me.

I use a big screen and a tablet is not at all interesting to work on for 8-10 hours a day.

Gasoline in Belgium is around $8.75 (6.25 €) for a gallon. In the U.S. around $3.65, so almost 2.4 times as cheap in the U.S.
