Hi !

I have one question.

When i power on computer, my usb flash drive isn't recognized right away.
I need to re-plug the flash drive every time, when i power on computer, then
it's recognized normally.

It's not such a big problem, but i have this usb flash drive always plugged at computer back side and it's little annoying :)

It should be recognized every time after boot. Do you have any BIOS Legacy (2.0) and/or UEFI USB (3.0) options. If so, how are they set? Next, what is the specific model number of your USB drive? Does it contain any Security Software by default? If you are not going to use the Security part (if provisioned as such), do a full format of that USB drive (to default values) and retest. Good luck.

I don't see any associated software that might be impacting you with the 8GB USB 2.0 version but I do see other versions with embedded security software. One more thing while you are checking your BIOS, do you have any other USB 2.0 drives that are recognized 100% of the time on boot? If so, it is not a bios issue.

In Bios there are not any special features, all usb options are enabled.
Yes, i have, usb midi keyboard (recognized normally) and another usb flash drive, which i'm not using it all the time,
but i'll try to power off and power on also with that one too plugged in.

It's working normally with (Transcend 8gb) flash drive.
Just Verbatim i need to re-plug to recognized it.
In Device Manager shows Verbatim drive normally, so drivers are present and installed correctly.

OK, can you try and format that Verbatim drive as shown by right-clicking it and selecting format:

Please select the default values and take a quick screenshot before you do it. A quick format is adequate. BTW, You do realize you will lose anything on that drive I hope.

If the answer to my last post is yes, then I can only assume you have an issue with that specific drive and I would return it for a refund or exchange. Good luck.

Yes, i have re-formatted, just like you mentioned and i already did the same way before.

Thanks for your help ! :)

I'll try the same flash drive on my other computer, but there i have winxp, here win 8.1 pro.

I really think you have done everything that is required to prove there is an issue with that specific drive. I would either return it or contact Verbatim support.

Other computer WinXP, power off and on, flash drive recognized right away....

That is not an apples-to-aples test; however, it does prove your flash drive may not be compatible with 8.1. Check with Verbatim support.
