try hitting f12 on bootup to get boot screen, and maybe recovery option will show there .
,if no, then try f2 or what ever key it shows when you turn on the laptop to enter bios /setup,and look for option to turn on f12 boot option ,mine shows in bios security section .

Switch off the laptop, disconnect the mains, remove the battery and press power button for 20-30secs, leave it to rest for a while then connect the mains and try starting it, I did this a long time ago and it fixed the problem, can not guarantee but worth a shot.

I have not tried that, but i've made so other progress.

I downloaded a windows 8 iso and installed with a bootable USB Stick... I guess now it works but i'm not quite happy with it.

One interesting thing i noticed though while installing was that i have a couple partions labelled "Recovery" one of them is 10gb in size where 2.x gb is free!! So around 8gb of stuff, i mean that can only be windows right? But how the f... do i access it

Anyway for now i'm going to get some sleep i can provide screens when i wake up if necessary

I have not seen a pre-installed system configured as you show. Is there a chance you moved your install to the SSD?

Using the reagentc /info command in an administrative command prompt would show us where the Recovery Image is supposed to be located.
