I don't know if I've posted this in the correct section, sorry.
I was wondering if it's possible to take windows 7 from my first computer and install it to my new one that has windows 8 on it (windows 8 has problems with its wifi where windows 7 worked perfectly).
If this is possible could somebody teach me how to do it.

It actually depends on whether or not Windows 7 came preinstalled on PC 1 by the computer maker - if so, it's an OEM copy and is tied to the system board (Germany has a specific provision that doesn't prohibit this, but this isn't legal just about everywhere else). However, if you bought the Windows 7 license on PC 1 separate from the PC, then you can move it anywhere you'd like, as long as it's only installed and activated on one computer at one time (legally).

Very unlikely you'll be able to use an OEM Win7 install to do what your want. I would cut to the chase and buy a Win7 retail full install DVD of one type or another. Here is some info for downgrading preinstalled Win8 to Win7. You didn't provide any significant system info so you can judge whether the link applies to you.

You're going to ditch Windows 8 because of the wifi problem? Have you looked at device manager and tried to update driver? Have you tried to find the correct updated driver for your wifi on the support site of your wifi device? Have you tried plugging in a third party wifi adapter so that you can access the internet? (d-link, tp-link, tenda, et. al. $10-15) You're "throwing out the baby with the bath water"; and if you have to buy a Win 7 OS, then you're wasting/misspending money as well. Try some simple remedies first (if you haven't already). Fill out your specs and someone will be able to give you more complete help.
