Startup Issue

Why don't you turn off Autorun for now and see what happen.

Ok, I'll try that. By the way, the problem did indeed go away as long as the Network List service was off. Unfortunately, as you mentioned, the service starts manually as needed, so this is a temporary fix and not a solution. I keep trying to think of what might be related to that service that the bing search automatically loads when it is enabled?
