Hi there
I have this new ASUS S400 vivobook and since day 1 there is no sound coming out of the speakers when they are not used for 5 min or so.
I have tried the following actions one at a time but without fixing the problem:
The only action that wakes up my speakers is to scan for new hardware in "audio inputs and outputs" but THIS ONLY WORKS TEMPORARILY SINCE AFTER A SHORT PERIOD OF NOT USING THE SPEAKERS THEY GO BACK IN A "COMA"
My pc is running windows 8 and Realtek audio software.
ANY KIND SUGGESTIONS TO FIND A PERMANENT FIX FOR THIS? HELP PLEASE!

I have tried the following actions one at a time but without fixing the problem:
- Updating "audio inputs and outputs", "sound, video and game controllers" and "high definition audio controller" from the device manager
- disabling bluetooth audio or intel audio
- unchecked "exclusive mode" on speaker's properties under "advanced" tab.
- selected playback through speakers on mic's properties under "listen" tab.
