If you are really stuck, I may let you use my boot media.

You would need to be able to d/l it and put it on flash drive/cd.

Hmm.
You have not tried startup repair from a Windows 8 installation disc, correct?

You won't need instructions, it looks and works exactly like windows. It has shortcuts on the desktop pointing at data recovery programs, etc. They are the free versions, of course, but they work well.

It might take a while to upload it.

Would you be able to get the Windows 8 key off of your Vaio tomorrow?
Actually, I don't think they added the key sticker on any Windows 8 laptops...

I have the VAIO with me right now. No product key on bottom but I think I have it in an old email when I bought the laptop.

Your probably better off with what SIW2 suggested, anyway.

You will still need to burn this to cd or apply to usb stick.

Can you do that Now, or will it be tomorrow.

David said:
When turning it back on it started to do an Automatic Repair but after a few minutes it said it was unable to repair the PC and said to fix it using one of the other Windows 8 options. These options did not work for me.

You can create install media if it is needed, but since this is an OEM device, you might be able to recover using what's already on the box.

It might be a good idea to create it anyway...
:ar: See OPTION ONE in: http://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/18309-windows-8-windows-8-1-iso-download-create.html#post178858

Let me see what I can find - but so that I don't chase an option you've already tried ...
What options did you you try?

Here's how you can create the install media - from the official MS ISO.

My post must have been buried in the flurry of activity.

Either that or I'm being completely ignored
