I can't run mine. It always hangs up on the "Direct3D 10 Texture Load Assessment." :cry:
 
You're not going to get a score greater than 5.9 with conventional (i.e. mechanical) HDDs. Like Windows 7, to gain a score greater than 5.9, you will need to use an SSD.

Same as everyone else, the 5.9 is due to my HDD.
Not bad for a laptop purchased May 2011, eh? :)
 
Same computer only difference is the hard drive. (SSD vs HDD) The 2.0 point increase in the WEI index raised most of the scores by 0.3 points and lowered the hard drive score by 0.3 for a HDD.

Conclusion GFX cards and Processors now have an uphill battle to break the 9.0 + barrier.

It looks so strange when that index has a dot as a decimal indicator, when i'm used to comma. :p

Looks like it's time to install the WCP to my SSD. Second score with my SSD, Windows 8 runs much better with the SSD drive. My score is the same as with Windows 7.
