Windows 8 is excellent so far.
Moved my Win7 & XP machine to it.
After setting it up with all my applications, I created an Image of the disk.
I installed the start button for a bit, taught I'd freak out not having it. but 30 minutes later I removed it and don't see any need to re-install it.
If your used to key commands like Windows + D , Windows + R etc and also just tapping the windows key to jump between desktop and metro is nice.
