Second windows 8.1 preview

so evaluation and preview are two different things[i knew that ] ,the preview will end ,and a evaluation version will become available after the full release on oct 18th

,and the article was updated on oct 4
[Note: I’ll be updating this post as new details emerge about the options discussed here. Last update: October 4, 2013, adding details about Windows 8.1 Preview] i assumed that meant it was written previous and updated on the 4th and the results got a bit mixed up

i always read things wrong ,sorry
wish i drank ,then i would have had an excuse ,

in Windows 7, you can just leave the product code field blank during the install and then run it for 30 days. Longer if you use the rearm command. I guess some people were just reinstalling every 90 days in an effort to get it for free. The original intent was likely just to let you have a 30 day trial and then if you wanted to keep it you bought a license/product code, entered it and then activated. The abuse is likely why you can't do that in Windows 8 or 8.1. It won't install without entering a product code. That's likely why the Enterprise version is the evaluation version and that there is an actual evaluation version. The preview is for consumers and the evaluation version is for Enterprise customers. That's my spin on it anyway.

Here try this:

The Preview expires in January. The RTM bits have already been released and you will be able to download the final version as an evaluation in about two weeks. Just wait...

4 October, 2013 00:58 "Add 2 weeks and you get somewhere in the middle of October."... Henry. Also nothing said about it being an enterprise edition.

I do not believe he is taliking about windows 8.1 preview,, not on the 4th of October 2013. I am still convinced that there will be another release for evaluation of 8.1. I call it a second preview, he calls it a time limited evaluation, same thing to me.
