Sorry to hear that. If it happens again, you might see if you may be able to boot into Safe Mode and uninstall the tv tuner software/driver while in Safe Mode. Hopefully it will let you avoid a reinstall.

Hi Brink

The problem is i dual boot with 7 , so every time i try to get to safe mode all that turns up is windows 7 , when i press f8 while booting to windows 8 i get the refresh pc or reset PC options there is no safe mode that i could see
im to concerned as this is a DP OS , with lots of bugs and reinstalling the os doesnt take very long at all

And i REALLY havnt tried to hard to fix it or get into safe mode ( just general poking about lol )

Ah, ok. Well, if you like to, you could use OPTION ONE to add Windows 8 "Safe Mode" to the OS boot manager menu to make it easier to boot into it.
