Prime95 stresses 3 things:
- RAM
- CPU cache
- memory controller (on the CPU in i5 processors)
By running the 3 different tests (Blend, Small FFT's and Large FFT's) you can get a better idea of what's causing it
In general, if it's fastest to error in Blend - it's most likely the RAM (and testing sticks one at a time will help to rule them out)
If it's fastest to error in the other tests - then it's most likely the CPU (and CPU stress tests are needed to confirm it)

I have run windows diagnostics for each memory stick for 10 passes and an extended one. I have also run for all mem sticks for 70 passes overnight, no errors. I can run the cpu stress test again.

I presume that the times in post #41 are the time that it took to error out.

I suspect the CPU - but would like to know if you've run MemTest86+. If not, I'd suggest running that rather than the Windows Memory Diagnostic.

If it passes all sticks, then do several of the CPU stress tests to see what results you get.
