After running the upgrade to Windows 8.1 yesterday, I have ran into this one problem that I just can't solve... that being all non-Windows programs are being scaled up and pixelated... making for an unpleasant sight to the eye.
Here are some screenshots to some programs with this issue.

(I kept everything on screen in the screenshots so you are able to see the clarity of items outside the program vs. in the program)
For some reason it's only these non-Windows programs that are doing this. The file explore, system info, control panel, etc. are all their correct scale. I tried to scale things down in the display resolution settings, but that scaled things down too far, and I've been using the same scale settings before Win 8.1 was rolled out.
I don't know if perhaps this is perhaps just some compatibility issues with Win 8.1, but to see this many programs with the issue makes me wonder if it's something I can edit.
Anyway, just wanted to see if anyone else has had this issue or if I'm the first.
Edit:
Browser wise, Firefox isn't blown up, but Chrome is.
