Under Windows 8 I'm unable to add a new signature to Outlook 2010, the "new signature" window appears but after entering the name of the signature and pressing the {ok} button nothing happens. Never had a similar problem with Windows 7. Any ideas ?

i use outlook 2010 and windows 8 pro and i can put a signature in

Did you delete what you did, shut outlook down and try again? If it weren't for Microsoft what would we do with all our time? :-)

My 2010 works fine.

I use Outlook 2010 and Win8. Sigs work for me. This sounds more like an Outlook issue than a Win8 issue. Sorry that I don't have a better answer.

Wondering what you mean by "nothing happens" after you hit the "OK" button. Do you mean the signature doesn't appear on emails or that signature set-up box just sits there with no change?

thanks for your answers... For those that doesn't have the problem: Could you please confirm if your Win 8 is an upgrade from Win 7 or a new setup ?

Mine was upgrade from 7 to 8 and outlook was installed in 7.

Have your tried to repair outlook. Control panel/programs/ right click on it and normally there is a repair option.

I installed Win8 in another PC and Outlook signatures works fine, tried the repair option but same problem.. will research the profile...

well... I was totally wrong, the problem wasn't Windows 8 fault or related. Don't know how but a file named "Signatures" exists in the fodler "C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft" and this prevented Outlook to work properly altough no error or warning message was shown to user.
thanks for your help!!!
