So i have over 25 failed attempts of windows 10 pro with Code 80240020 MS says to wait it out but others say to fix it by doing this , is it safe to do this or should i just ride it out?. SO how many of you have this happening and worst thing of al is MS support says its normal how is this normal??
here is what other around the forums are doing it sounds kind of sketchy to me.
1. Go into "C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download" and delete everything in that folder.
2. Now, run the command prompt as an administrator. Type in "wuauclt.exe /updatenow".
3. Go to your Control Panel > Windows Update and your Windows 10 should start re-downloading from scratch, hopefully without flaws this time.
