OS on HDD and Apps or Games on SSD

So many clean install i had done before with win xp,7,and vista without any problems, but now ssd and migrating os,are still something new for me,that way I have to learn more about that, and only two computer teacher i had are internet and someone like you..he..he..
Forget about that being an SSD, apart from making sure SATA port is set to AHCI mode in BIOS, there's nothing "special" about it save for speed boost over even fastest HDDs. When you install windows on it, windows will take care of everything else. No need to defrag or do anything else. Auto defrag is deactivated and TRIM command, essential for SSD self maintenance is implemented.

Disk 0 means it's first disk, so that's normal. may be best to disconnect other disk while installing windows on that SSD because there's possibility of boot sector to be dived on both disks.
During installation you'll be presented with opportunity to format disk in appropriate format before actual installation.
Check this tutorial for step by step with screen cuts. http://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/2299-clean-install-windows-8-a.html
Anyway it's almost same as Windows 7 if you ever did that, should be pretty familiar with it.

That computer may have UEFI instead of classical BIOS. Here, read some about it and need to turn off Secure Boot first.
