Hi - new member and just gravitated from 7 to 8.1.

My wife and I like separate logins (obviously) but we share a OneDrive account as it have family docs, photos etc. I initially created my account as the MS Account that set up the OneDrive. So far so easy - I had immediate access to the drive etc. However, I then got confused when I tried to set up my wife's account - I cannot log her in with the same email account as the OneDrive one (it wouldn't accept that) but to use another, or create a new MS account, didn't give her the access to the OneDrive as myself obviously. Is there a way of her having her own login but the use of the shared OneDrive (including its integration with our Office 365)?

I'm sure I'm just being thick, but can someone help out?

Hi Tom, welcome to the Eight Forums.

This will also work:
  1. Create the first user with an MS Account, OneDrive access will be automatic
  2. Create the second user as Local Account
  3. Now log in to this second, Local Account and install / access OneDrive using the MS Account email of the first user as told in this tutorial: http://www.eightforums.com/tutorial...-different-microsoft-account-windows-8-a.html
  4. You are all set up now. The first user signs in to Windows using the MS Account and OneDrive connected to that email, the second user signs in to Windows using a Local Account and OneDrive connected to the email of the first user
