I've been using the Office 2013 Preview for about a month and just installed the Retail version (for eval purposes). So far, I'm really liking the suite and it reminds me of what Office was like before it became bloatware. Outlook 2013 is especially nice and it's easy to do what you want to do. No crazy things to learn over again... Anyone else using it?

This implies the retail version is now available. Is it and if so, where did you get it? I took MS offer last month to upgrade to 2010 and get 2013 free when released, but haven't seen anything yet.

I like it, but I could be happy with any number of prior Offices. I never have needed to to sooooooooooooooooo much, although I've always done significant tasks with especially word and excel. The integration with the cloud etc. may be good, but I haven't fooled with it much.

I get a license from my workplace to test, so it's "retail" but I didn't get it from a retail outlet. It's not a developer's edition or pre-production. I like the fact that the applications have all been "cleaned" of unnecessary graphics that used to slow everything down. I hate to say it, but the "Metro" interface has been fully integrated and the applications all load and run quickly.

Outlook 2013 pulled in my accounts in an effortless manner, which has always been a problem with Outlook XP, 2003, 2007 and 2010. My email account is a POP with SSL and Outlook just had issues with the config and it took me weeks of troubleshooting and reconfiguration to get everrything working properly whenever a bew version of Outlook came out.

I love Microsoft Office 2013. It's much better than 2007 that was on my old laptop.

All the online synchronization, new customization of the programs themselves, seem less integration with Windows 8's Metro UI services... :)

I'm still using Office 2003 myself (on my own equipment). You can have it when you can pry it out of my cold, dead fingers! It runs fine on Win8. I'll upgrade iff (if and only if) they show me something I need that I ain't got with this version. I don't care that it's 10 years old. It still works perfectly.

I liked Office 2003 but I had problems importing PST files and reading documents from later versions that I use at work, so I had to upgrade the version I use at home. Also, my ISP (AT&T) uses some funky email settings that confuse Outlook and require me to re-authenticate every time I log in to get my email. So far, Outlook 2013 is able to send/receive email without requiring me to re-authenticate each time, which is nice!

Yeah, if you must import PST files from later versions then I guess you have no choice.
