Sometimes we slide a little backwards as technology attempts to move us forward. I don't recall ever having a problem with the Num Lock key on my old manual typewriter.
I got it to stay on before I replaced my SSD and now... the Num Lock key is the first key I press on bootup which is no problem.
Until I go to another computer and the habit turns that computers Num Lock off.
And that's the real problem, Rat. When I boot this PC, I also hit the NumLock key instead of the spacebar; however, when I boot either laptop, I have to remember to NOT hit the spacebar or I'll turn NumLock off.
Since I'm a creature of habit, well . . .
