Norton 2013 beta supports Windows 8 Metro

Do you concur or is there more that needs to be checked to make sure Norton is completely off this machine?

Since you did not say that you used the removal tool in safe mode, all you have to do is check C:\Windows\System32\drivers for a Norton folder. I believe most or even more likely, all Norton products install drivers into their own folder at the location in my previous sentence. If a Norton folder is non-existent - or - is existent but empty, then you have successfully cleared it from the machine.

Glad to hear shutdown hang is gone. You're welcome.

Shoot, I knew I would forget something. Checked that folder and no norton folder so presumably it is gone. Thanx!
