Not much to say here. I posted a comment on "If only Windows 8 could look like this..." saying that the concept shown sucks so I made my own. If you want the .psd , please send me a PM. :)
I used the "Century Gothic" font for everything and I added some visuals. Surely Microsoft would never make their OS look like that, but it's OK to have dreams, isn't it?
So here it is:

That is the way most people make their desktops look. It's just kinda cool. I dunno if you'll get it. The more stuff you clutter your desktop with the more professional and high-tech it looks to the noobs and to the people who know nothing about PC's. And also:

The point of modern computing is to make things as simple and easy as possible, and not trying to look high-tech to people who don't understand.

The concept isn't even cool-looking or or proffessional. It actually looks harder to use than Windows Vista/7.

It's always nice to see somebody actually presenting a look or a platform. I appreciate the work that must have gone into it. Even if it might be to dark It's at least a viewable attempt, something tangible. Fabe

Kind of.. bleh. Not something you'd ever see my desktop look like.

The fact that you think the more stuff on a desktop the more professional it looks, is rather false. If anything most common PC users clutter their desktop while the more professional/tech savvy users keep their desktop clean. ;)
