I have to make this as brief as possible, since I'm forced to use my phone to post this and I don't have a lot of data usage.
Basically put, something unusual happened to my PC. It started yesterday as of this post, the internet would at completely random intervals disable completely, then cheekily fix itself before I finish running the network diagnostic to see what is the issue.
I tolerated with this for a while, I assumed it was a simple case of replacing old cabling. I was using an Ethernet cable, so i simply went to replace the old one, but it didn't fix the problem. I then asked my internet service provider if anything is wrong on their end, they say it is working fine, and that if i can switch devices to see if the problem is my computer (i'm living alone with no spare devices lying about, so that's a bust). Tried everything I could think of. Restarting the computer, updating my files, system restore (not necessarily in that order), then it came to a head when for some reason a good portion of my programs refused to even open, including Google Chrome so I had to resort to writing this on my phone.
I do hope my computer hasn't died or anything, it's not even used longer than two years. Even some kind of help would be appreciated.
Oh, and given everyone is posting specs, i'm using an Acer laptop, specifically Aspire V5-572G, with all the components as it is, running Windows 8 64-bit.
