Solved My computer got thrown by me

the drive may be broken
IF the drive is truly "broken", that means it's damaged physically and will NOT work!

If you are able to use the PC with the drive in it, then it is NOT "broken".

As I already mentioned, in the case where the drive is physically damaged, only repair and rebuilding will get the drive working again -- and the usual warranty covers manufacturing defects, not the physical damage you have mentioned.

It is highly unlikely a conventional drive (non SSD) could survive the abuse this one has suffered without serious damage. I wouldn't trust it even if there were no symptoms and it passed all tests. The only cure for physical damage is replacement.

In my opinion no computer should have survived being thrown. I would think that it would be broken after all that.

Turn off bitlocker then immediately do an image backup of the drive to an external USB attached hard drive so if the worst happens you will at least have your data and an image you could use to restore to a new hard drive or SSD if needed.
