My Computer Cannot Connect To The Internet?

Hello. My mom uninstalled something on my 2nd computer and now it can't connect to the internet. I am writing this from another computer. Anyways, I looked it up and there was nothing on it. The computer is windows 8.1. There is no internet switch. The wireless internet icon (On the taskbar) is gone. Please help!

All I can figure out is that it has something to do with the network connection driver. Maybe.

Hi can you post please what make of computer/laptop it is and have you tried to go into setting and see if your wireless is showing there or into device manager and see if you have any red or yellow triangles or cycles

Hi I have a Toshiba have you gone into settings at all in there should be where you can alter everything and you should be able to see network or internet also airplane mode make sure airplane mode is off and switch internet on with that it should appear in the notisication bar sorry about my spelling I know when mine when down I found it had some how got turned off

Have you looked in device manager to see if there is any red or yellow symbals at all if there is then if your lucky Toshiba may be able to reinstall them for you if not then it looks like a complete reset

Sorry cant help you no more if someone else comes on prehalps they maybe able to help or can you obtain a dongle put it in your usb port and see if yu can at least get online to download the drivers or at least run the troubleshooter
