Metro app switcher stuck

Been running 8.1 since it was released, and everything seems fine, except for one recurring bug that I'm having. My metro app switcher bar (the one on the left hand side of the screen) gets "stuck" and the won't pop out to show the running apps. Obviously, a reboot brings it back, but I'm wondering if anyone else that has experienced this has found a permanent solution.

I am not sure what you mean by "stuck".

How are you trying to access it? By touch or by mouse?

By mouse you would simply drag the mouse pointer to the absolute most upper left point on the screen and it will show the switcher bar and then dragging down will pop it all the way out. Is this the procedure you are following?

Mouse, sorry. Obviously, I know how to get it. By stuck I mean it doesn't pop out. If yours always pops out when you mouse over it then you are not experiencing this issue.
