Hi

may i know your favorite metro applications?

the apps you liked more and rate more

thanks

The used two. The first was Camera, until I realized it reversed the image like a mirror. I downloaded the Desktop program yawcam to use instead. The second was Weather. Until I found out weather.com in a browser gave better forecasts.

I guess you can tell I'm a desktop guy.

I personally like mail and calendar. They're much better and more powerful than Windows Live Mail or Thunderbird in Windows 7 and more pleasing to the eye. I like desktop too, but there are certain programs I use in full screen anyhow. Oh yeah and alarms is pretty useful when I'm boiling spaghetti:D.

Does Calendar depend on task schedular? I tried the Vista Desktop calendar and it seemed cool until it broke. I'm very paranoid of using scheduled tasks for anything nontrivial.

I'm not sure, but it sync's when you're online with your outlook.com account or google... etc and can be used offline.

Windows Mail and OneCalendar (OneCalendar). OneCalendar lets you sync Google Calendar with your outlook.com calendar, as well as Facebook and Exchange. Free...
