Thank you for the new tweak Brink however I noticed when downloading the reg file for "Move Libraries above This PC in Navigation Pane" the file name is the same file "Default_Libraries_Position_in_Navigation_Pane" when saving to the desktop as the file in step # 2 above.

I also tested the reg file in case it was just the wrong file name but Libraries remains below This PC after signing out & a restart for good measure.

Sorry about teasing like that. The download link has been corrected now. :)

Hi Shaun,

The links now show the same but it's move above.

Great work dude.

They should have left libraries as they were :(

Hey Zardoc,

I'm sorry, but are you saying that the default link doesn't reset it back to normal for you?

Hello Clint,

Were you signed in to an administrator account when trying to merge the .reg file?

Great news mate. I'm proud of you for sticking with it. Was is the owner or permissions or both settings?

Brink - This works fine on my Win 8.1 laptop but in office 2010 and some other programs common dialogues, libraries are not present in the File Pane. Is there a way to introduce / re-introduce them to the common dialogues? I realize that in older office apps they just don't recognize the concept but office 2010 should. Wordpad can see them fine and they are above This PC where I have directed them. Any ideas?

By the way your efforts are appreciated!
