It's probably because we have not yet activated background colour codes ;) they are often used badly and result in problems for those trying to read posts.

We are still considering a few options, the items on the edit bar are the only ones that are working at present others may be added before the upgrade is signed off

if you want to use this thread here ...new format for 8 forums we will monitor it and take a look at any specific issues you notice

Also the current Valid BBcodes for the new format sites are listed in help BB codes which may explain the current status ;)
