Hello friends.
I have just noticed at few days ago that in Internet Explorer 11 if I go to "view" tab to change the size of the browser window I'm viewing , the "50%" and "Custom" selection is shaded and NOT available. I do not know what might have happened to change this, or how to change it back. Any help you may be able to provide will be much appreciated.
Thank you in advance...
Marsha

Hi GardenGrl,
Welcome to Eight-Forums.
Like that on mine and i did not change anything, but you are able to use other zoom settings ?

Seems like a bug with IE plus Windows 8.1. Cure for it is to go to the view tab and select toolbars and then select status bar.
This will shorten your web page a bit,but you will now see it on the bottom right corner and custom will work now.

The only problem I'm having is with the 50% and "custom" zoom, they both are shaded out and not available. All the other Zoom's from 400% to 75% at this point in time seem to be working correctly.

Your work around does address the base of the problem, thank you for finding that. I still wonder what is the separation between the two. From the Zoom on the view tab and the "custom zoom" from the status bar.

Note: That while I can get the custom zoom from the status bar, the Custom Zoom and 50% from the View Tab still does not work and is still shaded.

Thank you jds63 for your help

Your most welcome, seems be an issue possibly between IE and Windows 8. From research on it. Microsoft did not even have a better answer.
