Does anybody know how to install Hyper-V Manager on Windows 8.1? I can't find anything to say it isn't possible, but I also can't find any way to install it. Anything I have been able to find refers only to installing it in Windows 8.1 Pro, but says the host software requires Pro or Enterprise. However, since I am not installing the host, it looks like it is possible, if you can find the source. Has anyone been able to figure this out?
The reason I need to do this is that I have a Windows 8.1 machine and a Windows Hyper-V Server 2012 R2 Core machine, and I would like to be able to access the GUI tools for Hyper-V Manager. This is so I can directly access and see the machines I am running. Right now, I have a machine, but I have no way of accessing it. Thanks!
