So what happened was I was trying to log on to Skype on Windows 8. This is my grandmother's computer and she had her own Microsoft Outlook account set up on it. So when I wanted to go on Skype, it MADE me make my own Microsoft Outlook account before I could get on it, so I did. Now, the login for the Windows 8 computer is the same username and password as the one I had JUST NOW created. I can log in to the computer, because I have the password, but it's my grandmother's computer not mine. Her email thing is gone because of this AND I had just screwed up her login thing! HOW DO I SWITCH IT BACK? I'M SO MAD! This is all I'll be using this forum for, but I have EIGHT HOURS to fix this before she gets home. She will probably be using this computer again very soon so could you PLEASE help me, and give me a DEFINITE solution as soon as possible? Thanks for your time!

Hello ReadySteadyYeti, and welcome to Eight Forums.

Doing this below should be able to restore the Microsoft account that your grandmother was originally using.

Switch the account to be a local account.
When finished, switch the local account back to a Microsoft account using your grandmother's email address for her Microsoft account.
Hope this helps, :)
Shawn

I had similar prob when reinstalling Win 8.1 it kept demanding that I log in with a microsoft account, which I did not want to do as it created another user under that email. So I messed around and it said eventually, do you want to log in with existing account. Sod it - yes I said - and then my (5 users) opening screen came alive with no extra log in - dont know what I did but it worked!
