I need an app that lets me send files to my routers HDD!

I have an ASUS RT-AC68U router with 9 DBI dual band antennas. I need a program that allows me to copy and paste files to the external hard drives which are connected to the router's USB ports. An example of the application I am seeking is called "Silex Virtual Link", I need one like this, I used to use this 1 on my old D-Link DIR-825 router but it is not working with my new ASUS router and ASUS tech support couldn't solve anything.

The last person with this router was having the same problem until they updated the firmware which was downloaded from the Asus site, so I assume it will help in your case as well.

You shouldn't need any type of third party software just to access drives that are connected to this router.

I haven't looked into updating the firmware yet, I just bought it last week. But I will see if there is new firmware available for my router and if it changes anything.
